The fruit arrives first and does not apologise for it. Passion fruit and raspberry open sharp and juicy, white flowers thin them out through the middle, and sandalwood and vanilla give it a floor to stand on.
The inspiration
Fruit first, and it is not shy about it. Passion fruit and raspberry open sharp and juicy, yellow fruit behind them, closer to a cut fruit than to a syrup.
Then the flowers arrive and change what it is. Lily of the valley and white flowers take the middle and stretch the fruit out into something airy, which is the whole trick: without them this would be sweet and nothing else. Hawthorn, sandalwood, vanilla and musk sit underneath and give it a floor.
It is the lightest thing in the collection and it is still an extrait, so it lasts longer than it looks like it will. Wear it when the weather is already doing half the work.
