The apple is the surprise here, not the oud.

White musk opens, clean and almost neutral. Sandalwood holds the middle alone, dry and quiet. Then apple and oud arrive together at the base, and the apple lifts the oud and keeps it from settling into anything medicinal. Without it this would be a much heavier thing, and a much more predictable one.

For a study, a hallway, a room with wood in it. It suits a space that is already a little dark, and it is the one interior spray that reads masculine, if that matters to you.
